Work

Things I build, run, and improve.

This is not a list of job titles. It is a closer look at the work itself, why I care about it, and what each project reveals about how I work.

01 / Product

Track The Stack

What it is

A mobile-first platform for running home poker nights, settling the numbers, and preserving a league's history.

Why I care

The product grew out of a real group of friends who wanted the game to be easier to host and more fun to remember.

What I'm improving

Less spreadsheet duty, fewer payment questions, clearer records, and more of the stories that make a recurring game feel like a tradition.

What it reveals

I like products that make the organizer's invisible work lighter so everyone can stay in the moment.

02 / Place

Serenbe real estate

What it is

Real estate guidance for people considering a home and a life at Serenbe.

Why I care

A home decision is also a decision about daily rhythm, neighbors, landscape, and the kind of life someone wants to build.

What I'm improving

I want people to understand both the market details and the lived experience before deciding whether the place fits.

What it reveals

Context matters. Good guidance helps someone see the whole system around a decision, not just the transaction.

03 / Information

Analytics and systems

What it is

I design dashboards, workflows, and repeatable processes that make information easier to use and decisions easier to act on.

Why I care

Data can surface patterns that are easy to miss and sharpen the questions we ask about human behavior.

What I'm improving

I identify repeated work, unclear handoffs, and information that is technically available but practically hard to use, then design a clearer path through it.

What it reveals

I am less interested in complexity for its own sake than in the moment a complicated system becomes clear.

04 / Systems and discovery

AI discovery and business systems

What it is

I design and run systems that help businesses understand how they are discovered, described, recommended, and contacted across their websites, public information, and AI-assisted customer journeys. The work combines structured research, evidence capture, systems thinking, prioritization, and human review. It gives a business a clear baseline, identifies the most important gaps, routes the work to the right people, and creates a way to measure what changes over time.

Why I care

People rarely experience a business through one isolated interaction. They move through a chain of pages, profiles, recommendations, forms, conversations, and handoffs. I look for the points where that chain becomes unclear, inconsistent, or harder than it needs to be. The goal is not simply to add more technology. It is to make the entire system easier for people to understand and act within.

What I'm improving

I am currently applying this work through Serenbe Real Estate, where the system helps evaluate how the business is discovered by people and AI assistants, whether its public information is accurate and authoritative, and whether someone can move from a question to a reliable human response. The system establishes a baseline, validates findings with evidence, prioritizes the work, assigns responsibility, and compares progress through recurring reviews.

What it reveals

I am strongest when I can see the whole system around a problem. I like understanding how the pieces connect, where information gets lost, what people actually experience, and how a complicated process can become clearer without losing the human judgment that makes it useful.

05 / Participation

Community sports and events

What it is

Local games, gatherings, and the practical coordination that makes them happen again.

Why I care

Sport gives people an easy reason to see familiar faces, welcome someone new, and share a little momentum.

What I'm improving

Clearer invitations, less friction, steady schedules, and an atmosphere where different levels of experience can take part.

What it reveals

A good event is not only measured by what happens that day. It creates appetite for the next one.

06 / Ventures and small systems

Other ventures and small systems

What it is

Focused ventures, useful tools, and small systems that solve a real problem without needing a category of their own.

Why I care

Small projects make it possible to understand a practical need, design a useful response, and learn from how people actually use it.

What I'm improving

I build enough structure to make the work repeatable, then use evidence and experience to decide what deserves to change.

What it reveals

I am comfortable moving between the whole system and the small details that make it work in practice.

The through-line

Build the structure. Keep the experience human.

Across all of this work, I am looking for the same balance: enough structure to make participation easy, and enough room for people to make the experience their own.
